Kazcıoğlu Automotive General Manager Şeref Kazcıoğlu said, “In 1960 we set off with a shop in the courtyard of the house. We have been manufacturing automotive spare parts since 1981. When we started producing rods a year ago, we needed a machine that can rotate large diameter. TEZMAKSAN was interested in the topic and presented us the GOODWAY GA-3300 / W24 CNC machine tool. Since then, we have been in positive communication with TEZMAKSAN. I also set up a technology workshop on behalf of my wife a while ago. TEZMAKSAN stated that he appreciates this work I have done to raise awareness about women coming to the place they deserve.”

Can we learn the story of your company?
​Our company was founded in 1960 when our father, Halil İbrahim Kazcıoğlu, who was a very valuable and forward-thinking father, turned the courtyard at the entrance of our wooden house into a shop. Work has started with auto repair. In 1981, due to shortage of spare parts, production of brake hoses and pipes started. Then the wind-up handbrake, air handbrake, air-powered reinforcement, precipitation safety valve and damper lifting cell valves were manufactured. We, as OEM supplier, are currently manufacturing tractor and construction equipment bushed hose and pipe assemblies; production in the defense industry, cold forging, rod and suspension systems and export them abroad. We produce using high technology with nearly 400 staff. We continue our production journey with my brother Şener Kazcıoğlu.

How did you meet TEZMAKSAN? How has your communication strengthened?

We have been following TEZMEKSAN at the fairs since many years ago. When we started to produce rod a year ago, we needed a machine that can rotate a large diameter. TEZMAKSAN was interested the matter and presented us the GOODWAY GA-3300 / W24 CNC machine. Since then, we have been in contact with TEZMAKSAN. We are following the activities of TEZMAKSAN Academy with admiration. In addition, I am honored that TEZMAKSAN Corporate Customer Relations Director Yalçın Paslı included me in his book in Torna ile Şekillenen Hayatlar/Lives Shaped By Lathe.

Where did the thoughts come to your mind of an extraordinary attempt to donate a technology workshop on behalf of his wife?

There is a classic saying: Every successful man has a woman behind him. That is why I created a technology workshop on behalf of my loving wife Nurhan Kazcıoğlu. I also wanted to raise awareness that our women should come to the points they deserve.

How did your wife take this initiative?

My wife was obviously very touched. The words she said during the opening of the workshop better describes her feeling better his:” It is an example that My wife Şeref Kazcıoğlu, who is a good wife, a good father and a good master striving to keep them ahead of every platform, saying “Today is a very happy and meaningful day for me. ‘Our women are our head crown’ had my name written to the training workshop he had built. I thank him again in front of all of you. So glad I have you, so glad that you are the father of my children and the grandfather of my grandchildren.”
