Ömür Çelik was founded in 2001 by Ömer Bektaş on a 200 sq meter area. Today Ömür Çelik which serves the furniture, automotive, and machine industry sectors operates on a 2000 sq meter covered facility and 2000 sq meter open area.

Ömür Çelik which serves mostly the automotive sector ,sells and services quenching and tempering steel, production steel, nitrate and automation steels, springs and stainless steels.

Ömür Çelik General Manager Ömür Bektaş comments "quality always comes before price "and the most important thing is "buy the best quality with the cheapest price" . He adds that they have selected to work with Everising 1100 saws for their superiority over other leading brands. They have just recently added 4 new models to their manufacturing lines. He also comments that the models are more rigid and heavier than their competitor's models, with less strip wastage and faster cutting speeds and very sensitive precision.

Ömür Çelik wants to increase its services for the automotive supplier industry. For this reason they will open 4000 a sq metre cold drawing facility to serve the retail, machine, and service-repair sectors.
